The home.php template creates the homepage of your Chameleon theme site. This can be a little confusing because an index.php file does exist in the same folder. This file is actually the template for the archive pages: categories, authors, tags. As you can see above, several sections of the homepage are created by three include files: header [1], featured [2], and footer [4]. To make edits to these sections of the homepage, you’ll need to edit those files directly. Everything after the featured slider and before the footer is section [3] and can be edited in home.php.
